Music Video on the way

A Gap Year music video, the very first, will be posted soon on the website and on YouTube and is a video of the song ‘Cotton Clouds’ which features on the second album ‘Live It Like It Is’. The video highlights that universal theme of ‘one man against the system’, the individual who feels trapped by society and who wants to make his escape from it and features, alongside Carl, the professional actor Anthony Murphy. Anthony’s most recent work includes featuring in RTE Television’s flagship soap-opera ‘Fair City’ and Ireland’s most controversial cinematic release ‘Charlie Casanova’. The video is directed by Barry Grant who has directed numerous music videos as well as political video virals, documentaries and short films. Barry recently won the 2011 Waterford Film Festival Short Screenplay Competition for his screenplay ‘Shrinking Woody Allen’ which is currently in post-production and which will be soon making its way round the global festival circuit. It’s hopefully the start of a collaboration with Barry to make some more music videos and to post periodically online the occasional live performance of both existing and new songs.

There will be more studio work soon with a new album in the pipeline and more immediately a shorter collection of new material. All the songs are written for that shorter collection which will probably take the form of an extended EP or mini album.’
